July 18 - KC Workshop Week 1

Small Update.

I have a ton of stuff to talk about and a ton of artwork to show, but I am super busy with the workshop so I will just show the piece I have been working on the past week.

The big post with lots of images will probably come in 2 weeks. I try to keep this blog fairly high quality and I am just throwing up a couple of images on my ca.org sketchbook. You can check that out to just see some art.

First Post..and Gladiators!!

After visiting the the place all roads lead too, you can't help but have it inspire to draw some gladiators. I want to combine some Samurai elements tomorrow. Also, using 100 percent opacity black chalk brush in PS yielded some interesting marks and strokes. It was a fun and direct approach, which was very fast as well. Same mentality as a ballpoint pen...sort of. Totally a million errors, haven't started Figure class yet. :P

I will be starting fundamentals this upcoming semester and then focus on Illustration. It's an honor to be among so many hard working and passionate people. I really can't say that enough.
